Montran collaborated with B2B Infomedia for the Urban Cooperative Banking (UCB) summit held on the 3rd of June 2022 at Hotel Lalit, Mumbai. The summit was an enriching event with informative panel discussions and technical presentations delivered by senior officials and influencers from the BFSI industry, decision-makers of urban co-operative banks, and so on.

With over 500 delegates at the event, Montran participated in this summit as a speaker and exhibitor. Debraj Dutta from Montran India delivered a presentation on ‘Payments technology transformation in Co-operative Banks for economic empowerment and inclusivity’, to delegates present at the event. Debraj opened the presentation by reiterating RBI’s vision for the UCB sector. The presentation then spoke about the primary functions and the services provided by urban co-operative banks to customers. With the growing adoption of new technologies and introduction of new payment systems by the country’s regulators, this brings in a need for digital transformation to the banks’ existing infrastructure. Integrating the three main aspects of people, process and technology, Debraj concluded his presentation by highlighting the key features of Montran’s range of solutions that could help transform the payments landscape in the co-operative sector.

Montran representatives at the booth had an opportunity to interact with various dignitaries from the co-operative sector, understand the current functioning of their systems, challenges faced and the solutions that Montran could deliver in order to address their concerns. Montran delegates exchanged contact details, forming various new connections leading to prospective business relationships.
